SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY of Nam Viet Food & Beverage Joint Stock Company

  1. Introduction
    • This Shipping and Delivery Policy is provided by Nam Viet Food & Beverage Joint Stock Company. Our international sales are primarily governed by FOB (Free on Board) and CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) agreements.
  2. Free on Board (FOB) Shipments
    • Under FOB terms, the responsibility of Nam Viet Food & Beverage Joint Stock Company includes delivering the goods to the designated port of shipment. Once the goods are onboard the shipping vessel, the risk of loss or damage to the goods transfers to the buyer.
    • The buyer is responsible for organizing and bearing the cost of sea freight, insurance, and further transportation from the port of shipment.
  3. Cost, Insurance, and Freight (CIF) Shipments
    • Under CIF terms, Nam Viet Food & Beverage Joint Stock Company covers the costs, insurance, and freight to transport the goods to the designated port of destination.
    • The risk of loss or damage to the goods transfers to the buyer once the goods are loaded onto the shipping vessel at the port of shipment. However, we will provide insurance for the goods during sea transit.
  4. Shipping Arrangements
    • All arrangements under FOB and CIF terms will be made in consultation with the buyer, including estimated shipping dates, vessel details, and port of arrival.
  5. Documentation
    • We provide all necessary shipping documents, such as the bill of lading, invoice, packing list, and any other documents required for customs clearance.
  6. Customs and Import Duties
    • The buyer is responsible for customs clearance in the destination country and for any applicable import duties, taxes, and fees.
  7. Delivery Timeframes
    • Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be subject to changes due to vessel availability, customs processes, and transit delays.
  8. Damage or Loss During Transit
    • In case of damage or loss during transit, the buyer must immediately inform Nam Viet Food & Beverage Joint Stock Company and the insurance company (for CIF terms), with supporting documentation.
  9. Changes and Cancellations
    • Changes or cancellations to shipping orders must be communicated to us as early as possible. Additional charges may be incurred.
